Meet our team! Miss Upton is one of our EYFS Teachers and SENCo here at Tilstock:

“I have been in education for nearly 10 years and my roles have changed throughout that time. I have supported children in specialist education and mainstream and worked across year groups from Early Years to Year 6.

Tilstock is very special to me. I began my journey here in Early Years in September 2021. Our school feels like home to so many of our children, where they feel safe, secure and valued. This is much the same for us teachers and there isn’t anywhere that I would rather be! Being SENCo at Tilstock allows me the opportunity to meet with children and families across the school and build the community of support that we have been working towards.

Outside of school, my favourite activity is walking. My children and I love to walk and search for hidden waterfalls. It’s even more fun when we get lost along the way!”
