Talbot Class

Hi there! Mr Paterson here.

I just wanted to write you a quick letter to say how much I miss you and wish we could be spending the end of term together. I had so many exciting ideas for us, but I guess I will have to save those for next year.

I have loved getting your emails and pictures of your work through Class Dojo. They are the highlight of my day and I always make sure to show them to Walter, as he is also very invested in your work!

Walter has not enjoyed having me around the house as much as I have been over the last few months. He doesn’t get the zoomies but he does wail VERY LOUDLY at all hours of the night and especially when I am in very important meetings. He is currently sunbathing and leaving little patches of fluff around the house for me to find… delightful.

I am hoping you are still having a Friday dance disco, even though you won’t get to see my brilliant dancing. It is fun and it doesn’t have to be about work. Just put your favourite song on really loud and dance like nobody is watching. You will feel better and it’s fun to be a little weird and crazy sometimes.

Speaking of work, here is your pack for the rest of the term. This is all stuff to do with our topic, but I want you to do some other stuff for me as well.

  •  Think about the job you might want when you grow up? Why do you want that job? What do you have to do to get there?
  • Find a place around the world that you would love to visit. A mountain you want to climb, a beautiful beach you want to visit or a city full of adventures. Let me know where you choose.
  • Take time for yourself, spend 10 minutes alone. Just be you, you are enough, and you are awesome. Being outside, if you can, helps.

That’s it. No marking, no score out of 10, just for you.

So, keep me updated and enjoy the rest of the term. I miss you all like mad and I can’t wait to see you again, whenever that is.

Stay home, stay safe, stay awesome!
